Join us for our "Intro to Junior Derby" class and see what roller derby is all about! This course is for kids of all genders, ages 8-17. The session begins April 8th and last 8 weeks. New members may join up until the 3rd week of the class. Classes are held Sunday afternoons from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, held at our practice headquarters, 1501 N. C St, Sacramento, CA. The session focuses on teaching new skaters the basics of roller derby which include safety, stops, skating form, endurance, and game rules. The last session includes a scrimmage to show off all their new skills! 

The cost is $10.00 per week. A discounted rate is available if paid for in full by the end of the first class. Payment can be made at https://www.sacramentorollerderby.com/pay-dues/ or in person. 

We encourage skaters to bring any gear they have (helmet, knee pads, wrist guards, elbow pads, and skates), but we do have loaner gear available as well. Don't forget to bring your own mouthguard and water.
