Join us for the first Junior Roller Derby 101 of the year and see what roller derby is all about! This course is fun and safe for beginners and is open to kids of all genders, ages 8-17. This session begins on January 12th and last 8 weeks. New skaters can join the first three weeks of the session. Classes are held Sunday afternoons from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at our practice headquarters, 1501 N. C St, Sacramento. The classes focus on teaching new skaters the basics of roller derby and roller skating which include safety, stops, skating form, endurance, skate maintenance, and rules.

The cost is $10.00 per week. A discounted rate is available if paid for in full by the end of the first class. Payment can be made on our website or in person.

We encourage skaters to bring any gear they have (helmet, knee pads, wrist guards, elbow pads, and skates), but there is plenty of loaner gear available as well. Don't forget to bring your own mouthguard and water!
