Sacramento Roller Derby is participating in the Big Day of Giving: May 2, 2019! to raise funds for a new home. To help raise funds we are hosting a pop-up skate-a-thon at the cement slab at the corner of Sutterville and Freeport in William Land Park on May 2nd from 6-8 PM.

We welcome you to join us as we skate our laps and maybe even help raise some funds yourself. This will be a casual paced rink style skate with some fun hijinks! This is a BYOS (bring your own skates) event and is super hero themed so show up up in your finest superhero attire.

Why superhero themed? Every week over a hundred participants enter our doors and emerge stronger, more confident, and enriched. Sacramento Roller Derby offers more than 30 hours of programs where participants learn to move obstacles out of their way, test the limits of their abilities, and take up space, just like superheros.
